Mahaan Dairies

We have been here in Bani Park for quite a while now. Running a dairy is not exactly an easy job, especially when the day starts way before the sun even thinks about coming up. Most people are still sleeping while we are already unloading the cans and getting things ready. It gets pretty loud sometimes with the trucks coming in and out, but that is just how it goes in this part of town. The shop itself is nothing fancy, just a plain place where we keep the milk and curd cold. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors because milk spills happen more often than you would think. Some days are busier than others, especially when there is a festival or something going on in the neighborhood. People stop by on their way to work or while they are out running errands. We know most of the faces around here by now. Bani Park has changed a lot since we first started, with more cars and more noise, but we just keep doing what we do every single day. Sometimes the fridge acts up or the delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It is a lot of heavy lifting and standing on your feet for hours, but it is the work we know. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays fresh and the customers get what they need without too much fuss.
