Maha Ganpati

We have been at 2 Dhula House Road for a good while now. Bapu Bazar is always such a crowded place, especially once the sun starts to go down and everyone comes out to shop. It is just a small place but we keep ourselves busy enough. My father was the one who started things here and these days I am usually the person you will find behind the counter. Most days it is just about opening up on time and making sure the shelves do not look too empty. You know how it is in Jaipur, the heat gets really bad in the summer so we just try to keep the fans running all day. People come in looking for things and sometimes they find what they need and other times they just stop to chat for a bit. We do not have a big team or any fancy staff. It is just us. The road gets very narrow outside and finding a place to park is always a headache for everyone. But this shop is home for the business. We see the same faces every week. It is not a fancy setup. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but there never seems to be a good time to close up and get that done. We just focus on getting through the daily work. If you are walking down Bapu Bazar, you will see us near the corner. It is a simple shop.
