Working at Madhu Sudan Cargo Carriers means you spend a lot of time looking at clocks and clipboards. We are located at S-1 44 in VKIA, right across from the Pink City Honda on Road No 1. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic outside can be a real headache when the big trucks are trying to turn in. Our office is a bit cramped with all the logbooks and delivery receipts stacked up, but it works for us. Most of the day is spent on the phone, tracking where a driver is or figuring out why a load hasn't arrived yet. We deal with all sorts of cargo, some heavy and some just bulky. The tea here is always strong because we need it to keep going through the long shifts. You get used to the smell of diesel and the sound of air brakes. Sometimes the weather messes up the schedules, and then everyone is stressed trying to catch up. We aren't doing anything flashy, just moving goods from one place to another. It’s a lot of coordination and hoping the roads are clear. When a truck finally pulls out of the yard fully loaded, there’s a bit of relief until the next one shows up. The industrial area is dusty, and the sun beats down on the corrugated roof of the warehouse, making it like an oven in the summer. We just keep the files organized and make sure the keys are where they belong.
