M R Golden Transport Co

M R Golden Transport Co has its main office right there between Sansar Chandra Road and Sikar Road. It is a busy intersection and there is always someone honking outside our window. We spend most of our time tracking where the trucks are and talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic somewhere far away. The office is a bit cramped with all the logbooks and papers piled up on the desks. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news but nobody really watches it much. It has been a long journey getting this transport business to stay steady but we are still here doing it. Some days are better than others, especially when the weather is bad and everything gets slowed down. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know the routes and how to handle the paperwork. It is not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie. Most of us just wear comfortable clothes and drink a lot of tea throughout the day. We are just a local transport company trying to get goods from one place to another without too many headaches. It is a lot of hard work and long hours but that is just how it goes in this line of business.
