Our place, M P Madras Transport Service, is situated on Vkia Road No 14, right near Badana Pulia. Being in the Vkia area means we are surrounded by a lot of factories and large trucks all day long. It's a dusty and busy place with a lot of heavy machinery moving around. We operate out of a basic office where we handle all the scheduling and paperwork for the transport. It’s not a polished environment; it’s a working site. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the loads are ready to go. The road here is always torn up or busy with construction, which is just part of being in an industrial zone. We’ve been doing this for years, moving goods back and forth. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how the transport business works. Our days are long, often starting before dawn and ending late at night when the last truck comes in. It’s honest, tiring work, but it’s what we know. People find us because of our location near the bridge. We just get on with the job and don't worry about making things look fancy. It's all about getting the trucks on the road and making sure everything reaches where it needs to go without a problem. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to work by candlelight in the office, but the trucks never stop. We just keep the tea hot and the logbooks ready for the next arrival.
