Llakshdev Garment Llp

Our work happens at 1270 Gautam Marg, right in Rani Sati Nagar, which is quite close to Nirman Nagar here in Jaipur. Llakshdev Garment Llp is basically our whole life. The street outside is usually crammed with people and cars, so it’s a very lively and sometimes loud spot to work in. We don’t have a giant factory or anything like that. It’s a local setup where we handle everything from start to finish. We spend many hours looking at different types of cloth and trying to figure out which ones will work best for what we need. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a loud rattling noise and we have to try and fix it ourselves. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we get through the day’s tasks. My cousin helps me with the accounts, and a few people from the neighborhood work with us on the garments. We’ve been doing this for a while now, learning stuff as we go along. Sometimes we make mistakes with the sizing or a shipment gets stuck because of the heavy rain, but we always try to sort it out. The shop isn’t fancy to look at. There are stacks of fabric everywhere and patterns pinned up on the walls. We don't spend money on big advertisements. We just focus on making garments that people can actually use in their daily lives. It’s a small operation and that's fine with us.
