Our place is at F-101 in the Riico Industrial Area in Bassi. If you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a lot of industrial units one after another. Lalchand Food Products Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend most of our waking hours. The smell of whatever we’re processing that day usually hangs heavy in the air. It’s a busy environment with people moving crates and packing boxes constantly. We have a set routine because food products need to be handled carefully. The floor is always being cleaned, and everyone has to follow the rules about hairnets and gloves. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s important. We have a small office near the front where we handle the orders. It’s usually a bit of a mess with ledgers and delivery schedules. Bassi is a bit of a drive for some of us, but we’re used to the commute now. The industrial area can be quite loud with all the generators and trucks, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People come here for the product, not for the decor. It’s just a group of us trying to make sure everything is packed correctly and shipped out on time. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the machines running smooth.
