Kiran Roadlines

Our office is out on Sirsi Road in Kanakpura, very close to the ICD Container Yard. Being near the container yard means there is always something happening. We see a lot of heavy traffic and big containers being moved around every day. It’s an industrial sort of place, so it isn't very pretty, but it’s where the work happens. We handle a lot of road transport. Most of our time is spent talking to drivers and making sure the trucks are in good shape. We have a small crew here. The building is simple, just enough room for a few desks and a place to sit. We don't have air conditioning that works all the time, so it gets hot in the summer. We drink a lot of water and just keep going. People come to us when they have things that need to be moved across the state or even further. We know the struggle of finding good routes and dealing with the weather. It’s a bit of a rough job sometimes, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we don’t think twice about it. We’re not a huge corporation, just a local outfit trying to do a decent job. We keep our paperwork in order and make sure our clients know where their stuff is. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
