Our place is Shop No 28 over in Mahesh Nagar on Road No 1. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite Techno Hind Marble, which most people know because of the big slabs of stone they have out. We are also near Krishna Dharam Kanta, so it is quite easy to find if you are driving a heavy vehicle. The office at Karnatka Carrying Corporation is not very large, just enough space for a few chairs and a table where we keep the registers. It gets a bit dusty because of the road work and all the trucks passing by all day long. We usually have some tea around eleven and talk about the schedules. It is a bit loud with the horns honking outside but we are used to it by now. My staff has been with me for a while and we just know how things work. There is no need for big corporate speeches here. We just make sure the goods are loaded and the drivers know where they are going. Sometimes a truck gets delayed because of a breakdown or the weather, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. That is just the nature of this kind of work. We don't use much fancy technology, mostly just the phone and some notebooks to track things. It works for us and keeps the business running smooth enough without any extra fuss.
