Kanji Sweets Caters

Kanji Sweets Caters is located right at Janpath Corner on New Sanganer Road in Shyamnagar. It’s a busy intersection, and we are right there in the middle of it. We do a mix of things here. Part of the shop is for people who just want to drop in and pick up a box of sweets, and the other part is where we handle the catering side of things. It stays pretty noisy with the traffic outside and the clanking of pans in the back. We have been serving the Shyamnagar area for a while now. My family runs the place, and we all pitch in wherever needed. One minute I might be weighing out some mithai for a customer, and the next I’m checking on a large order of dal or subji for a wedding. It is a lot to keep track of, and sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home. We don't use any fancy machinery; most things are still done by hand because that’s how we learned to do it. The recipes are just things passed down through the family. We aren't looking to open a hundred branches or anything like that. We like being a local fixture on New Sanganer Road. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of my brothers behind the counter. We’re just regular people making food for our neighbors and trying to do a decent job of it every single day.
