Jamna Tours

Jamna Tours is based at 3B New Sanganer Road, right on the corner of Nannu Marg in Devi Nagar. We've been in this spot for a good while now, watching the traffic go by on Sanganer Road every single day. It’s a busy area, so there is always something happening outside our window. Our office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. It's got a few maps on the wall that are a bit faded from the sun and some old wooden chairs for whoever stops by. We handle a lot of different travel requests, mostly for people around Devi Nagar who want to go on a trip but don't want to deal with the big websites. We talk to people face to face, which feels better anyway. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other times it's dead quiet. We just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in the city. We just like helping people figure out their routes and getting their tickets sorted. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve got a small kettle in the back for making chai when things slow down. It’s a simple life here. We know most of the shopkeepers on the block. It feels like a small community even though the city is growing so fast around us. We plan to stay right here for as long as we can.
