Our office is located on Sikar Road, right near the Jodla Power House. It’s a spot where you see a lot of traffic heading out towards the north or down towards Gujarat. As Jammu Ahemadabad Transport Service, our name pretty much tells you what we do. We manage the route between those places and everywhere in between. It is a lot of miles on the road. We spend most of our time on the phone with drivers or talking to people who need their goods moved across states. The office isn't much to look at. It’s functional, with a few chairs and a lot of registers on the shelves. Working on Sikar Road means we are always in the middle of the noise. We have been operating from this location for years. We know the roads well and we know how long it actually takes to get a truck from one point to another, regardless of what a map says. Weather, traffic, and road repairs are things we deal with every single day. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just try to get the loads delivered on time. It is a gritty job and the hours are often long. Sometimes we are here late at night waiting for a truck to arrive at the Jodla Power House area. It’s just how this business works, and we are used to the long days and the constant motion.
