Jal Mahal Ice Cream Parlour

Our little spot is located at 85 M I Road. It is called Jal Mahal Ice Cream Parlour, though we are just a regular shop where people come to get something cold when the weather is hot. It gets really busy in the summer evenings when everyone is out walking after dinner. We have a few freezers and some basic benches where people can sit if it is not too crowded. The street outside is always full of cars and people, so it stays a bit hectic. We spend a lot of our time scooping and cleaning up sticky spills on the floor. It is not a fancy cafe with music. It is more of a place where you grab a cone and keep moving along the road. We have been at this location for a long time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with customers to get around to it. We deal with the local suppliers and try to keep the popular flavors in stock. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to worry about the freezers, which is a real headache. But mostly it is just serving kids and families who want a quick treat. We are not trying to be the biggest place in town. We just stay open late and keep the lights on for anyone passing by on M I Road. It is a simple business with no big corporate team behind it.
