Jaipur Bikaner Transport Carrier

We are situated on Sansar Chandra Road, right opposite the PNB. It’s a hectic part of town because of all the transport activity and the bank traffic. Being a transport carrier means we are always dealing with schedules and drivers and loads of paperwork. The office is usually a bit of a mess with manifests and logbooks piled up on the desks. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait for their documents. You can hear the constant honking from the road outside, which just becomes background noise after a while. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, someone is just shouting over the noise to get a point across. It’s a fast-paced environment and things change quickly depending on which truck is where. We drink a lot of tea to stay alert. The paint on the front door is peeling a bit, but nobody really cares about that as long as the trucks are moving. We’ve been across from the bank for years, so most people in the transport business know where to find us. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We just focus on getting the goods from Jaipur to Bikaner and back again without too much trouble. It’s a lot of long hours and phone calls, but that is the life we chose. We are just here doing the job.
