You can find our place at Thikiriya Keshavpura Bus Stand, right near the Nayi Chungi Naka in Bhankrota. Being so close to the bus stand means there is never a quiet moment around here. There is a constant flow of people, buses, and local transport moving past our doors from dawn until late at night. Our office is right in the thick of that Bhankrota traffic, which makes it easy for people to stop by but sometimes hard to hear yourself think. We have been working out of this location for quite a while, and the building has that worn-in feeling of a place that sees a lot of use. Inside, we have a few desks and some old benches for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork to be finished. The Nayi Chungi Naka is a major landmark, so we often end up giving directions to lost travelers who wander in. Our work mostly revolves around roadlines and making sure the trucks are on the right path. It involves a lot of waiting around for arrivals and then a sudden rush of activity when a vehicle finally pulls in. The dust from the main road settles on everything, so we are always wiping down the desks. We are just a group of local guys who know the transport business and the roads around Rajasthan quite well. It’s a busy life but we have gotten used to the noise.
