J K Road Transport Corporation operates from Moti Dungri Road at the Fateh Tiba Marg junction. It’s a busy corner and our office is right in the thick of it. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of old paper and ink. We keep all our records in large bound books because the computer isn't always reliable. There are only two of us in the office most days. We handle the paperwork for the trucks that move across the region. It’s not a polished corporate office. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the chairs have seen better days. We leave the windows open to let some air in, even if it means a bit of dust comes with it. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy logo on our stationery. We just use a simple rubber stamp. People know us by our reputation for being straightforward. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the drivers who stop by for their paperwork. It’s a simple, local business that keeps us busy from morning until night.
