Hastkala Handicraft Exports

Hastkala Handicraft Exports is situated at C-82 on Prithviraj Road in the C-Scheme area. It’s a nice neighborhood, and we’ve been working out of this building for a long time. We use the ground floor mostly for storage and packing. There are always big heavy gates at the entrance that we leave open during the day. A stray dog usually sleeps near the gate and we give him some water now and then. Inside, the space is filled with handicrafts from all over the region. We spend a lot of our time checking for cracks or flaws and then wrapping things in old newspapers and bubble wrap. It’s not a polished showroom, and there are often boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We aren't a big fancy outfit. It’s just us doing the sorting and shipping. Prithviraj Road is fairly busy, so we hear a lot of cars and horns throughout the day. We have an old radio in the corner that we play sometimes to keep things lively. Most of our clients have been with us for years, so we don't really do much in the way of selling ourselves. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the crates are loaded correctly onto the trucks. It’s a simple, honest business that keeps us busy from morning until night. We’re happy enough with how things are.
