Gujarat Khaman House

Gujarat Khaman House is located in Mansarovar, right on Maharani Farm Road at number 273. It is a place that stays fairly busy because of the food we prepare. Most mornings, the smell of the stove and the ingredients starts filling up the space at 273 Maharani Farm Road long before many people are even awake. We have a small kitchen area and a place for people to stand and wait. It’s not a large fancy restaurant, just a simple house where we make khaman and other things. Mansarovar is a big residential area, so we get a lot of locals walking over from their homes. The street outside can get a bit crowded with scooters parked everywhere, especially during the breakfast and evening hours. We don't have any professional waitstaff or anything like that. It’s just us back there cooking and serving whatever is ready. The sign for Gujarat Khaman House is pretty basic, but people know the smell of the food, so they find us easily enough. We spend most of our time making sure the batches come out right. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighbors have become like friends. We just try to keep things simple and keep the food moving out the door while it is fresh.
