Gohil Tea & Dosa Point

Our small shop is right here in Malviya Nagar, tucked away where people can find us easily enough. Gohil Tea & Dosa Point isn't some big restaurant with waiters in uniforms. It’s mostly just us making tea and pouring dosa batter onto the tawa. The smell of sambar usually fills the air by mid-morning. We start early because the tea kettle needs to be hot for the morning crowd. Some people stop by on their way to work, grabbing a quick cup while they wait for the bus. It gets a bit crowded during lunch, and sometimes there aren't enough stools to go around. We tell people to just stand and eat if they're in a hurry. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time at the stove instead. We buy our vegetables from the market nearby every day. It’s a lot of work, especially when it’s hot outside, but we’re used to it. The tea is always strong, just how we like it ourselves. We don't do anything fancy with the menu. It’s just the same stuff we’ve been making for years. If you come by Malviya Nagar, you'll see us. We’re usually busy with orders, but we always have time to nod hello. It’s a plain place, but the food is hot and the tea is ready whenever someone walks in through the door.
