General & Fancy Store

We are also located in the Moti Nagar section of Gandhi Path here in Jaipur. General & Fancy Store is a bit of a mix of things. We have the usual daily items, but we also keep some of the more decorative or "fancy" bits that people like to buy for special occasions or just to have something nice at home. The shop is a bit cluttered because of all the different types of items we try to keep in stock. It can be a bit hard to find things if you don't know where to look, but we usually know exactly which corner has what. The building is a bit older, so the ceilings are high and it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on Vaishali Nagar. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors who stop by. It’s not just about the items on the shelves; it’s about being part of the street. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the door until it comes back on. That’s just life here. We don't have a big team of workers, just a couple of us doing the daily chores. It’s a practical place for the folks in Moti Nagar to find what they need without going too far. Nothing fancy about the way we run it, despite the name. We just do our best to stay open and keep things available.
