G C Trailer Service is situated on Ajmer Road inside Manohar Market. We are right by the 200 Feet Bypass, and our biggest landmark is the Citrakoot Water Tank that sits directly across from us. Being so close to such a major road means there are constantly massive trucks and trailers rumbling past our door. The noise is something we have just grown used to over the years. Most of our work is done outside or in the large open bay at the front. There is oil and black grease on just about every surface, and we usually have it on our hands and clothes too. We fix trailers and handle basic maintenance, so there are always heavy wrenches and tools lying on the ground. It is a very dusty location because of all the traffic and the wind blowing off the bypass. When a large trailer pulls in for work, it takes up nearly all the space we have available. We spend our days climbing under the chassis or checking over the tires. Manohar Market is a hub for transport businesses, so we see many of the same drivers every week. It’s not the sort of place where you would want to wear a clean shirt. We have a tiny cabin for keeping our records, but mostly we stay out where the actual work happens. That water tank is a good way for people to find us since we are right opposite it.
