Friends Transport Co

We are based over at B-28 in Transport Nagar. This area is the heart of the trucking business in Jaipur, so it is always loud and full of activity. Friends Transport Co is a small group of us working out of this unit. The office isn't much to look at, just some basic desks and a lot of filing cabinets stuffed with old receipts. We have some tea stains on the tables and the floor is a bit worn down from all the boots walking through. We know almost everyone in the B-block. It is a community where people help each other out when a truck breaks down or a driver goes missing. We don't have any big missions or fancy goals written on the walls. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure everyone gets paid. The phone rings a lot and sometimes we have three conversations going at once. It can be stressful, but we have been doing this long enough that it feels normal. We don't use any corporate talk here. We just speak plainly to our customers and the drivers. If you drop by, you will likely find us arguing over a route or sharing a joke during a quiet moment. It’s a very human place to work. We are just regular people trying to keep the business running in a very busy part of town.
