Food Van

You can find us at House No. X107 on Street Number 10 in Brahmpuri. We are right near the Shiv Mandir, so it’s easy to find if you are a local. The Food Van started as a small idea and we just kept going with it. Most of the prep work happens right here at the house before we take things out. It’s a narrow street, so things get a bit tight when we are loading up the supplies. The kids play out on the street and there’s always something going on near the temple. We wake up early to start the cooking so everything is ready for the day. It’s not a big fancy kitchen, just what we have in the house. We do everything ourselves, from washing the vegetables to packing the containers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to scramble, but that’s just part of life here in Brahmpuri. It's a family thing, really. My brother helps with the driving and my mother keeps an eye on the recipes. We don't have a big menu, just stuff we know people like to eat. The neighbors often stop by to see what we are making. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours standing on our feet, but we enjoy being part of the neighborhood. We aren't some big restaurant chain, just a small local setup trying to do things right every day.
