Food Babu Online Store

Our office is in Building No. 65 on the second floor, over on Sardar Patel Marg in C-Scheme. Being on the second floor means we are a bit away from the street level noise. We run an online store from here so it’s mostly computers and phones and piles of packing tape. We spend the day checking orders that come in through the website and making sure the stock levels are right. It’s not a shop where people walk in off the street usually. Most of our work is done digitally but there is still a lot of physical stuff to handle. We have shelves full of items ready to be shipped out. The floor is often covered in bubble wrap and cardboard scraps. It’s a bit chaotic when we have a big sale going on. We sit at our desks for long hours looking at screens and talking to delivery drivers. The area around Sardar Patel Marg is quite busy so getting deliveries out can be a bit of a headache with the traffic. We don't have any fancy office decor or expensive lighting. It’s just a practical space for us to work. We have a small kettle for making tea and that’s about the only luxury we have here. It’s just a small team of us trying to keep the orders moving out the door every day. We just do our best to keep up.
