Fine Food

We’re over at 2, Shyam Nagar, right across from Road No-8 in the Vki Industrial Area. Fine Food is where we spend our days working. It’s an industrial spot, so it’s not exactly pretty to look at, but it works for what we do. We handle a lot of food products and supplies here for different clients. It’s mostly about packing and making sure everything is stored correctly in the warehouse. The building can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. We aren't a big corporation, just a few of us working together to get the daily orders out. We see a lot of delivery drivers coming through the industrial area every morning. Shyam Nagar is a good location for us because it’s easy for the big trucks to find. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just focus on the inventory and making sure it goes where it’s supposed to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy and we have to sort it out late in the evening. It’s a lot of repetitive work, checking labels and moving boxes around, but it’s a decent living. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the rhythms of the neighborhood. People call us up when they need things, and we do what we can. It is just a normal food business doing its thing.
