Expo India

At Expo India we spend a lot of time packing boxes. We are based in Gurunanak Pura which is a busy little corner of Raja Park. There’s always stuff being moved around here. We handle different goods and try to get them ready for shipping. It involves a lot of tape and cardboard. The space we have is filled with inventory so there isn't much room to walk around sometimes. We’ve had this spot for a while now and everyone in the lane knows us. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. Sometimes the shipments get delayed and we have to explain it to people which is never fun. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes that can handle moving boxes. Raja Park has changed a lot with all the new shops opening up. It used to be much quieter. Now there’s a lot of cars and noise all day. We start our day with a quick prayer and then get to work. Some days we are here until late at night if a big truck is coming. It’s a simple business but it keeps us very busy. We have a small desk near the door where we keep all the records. It’s a bit cramped but we make it work. We don't have any big signs out front. People just know where we are. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
