Our facility is located at 81 Vkia in Kalyan Nagar, which is right opposite Road No 4. It’s an industrial part of Jaipur, so there are always big trucks moving around and the sound of engines in the air. We have a yard and a small office building on the site. Most of our day involves checking manifestos and watching the loading and unloading. It’s a dusty place because of all the traffic, but that is expected in this area. We have a few desks inside where we manage the paperwork. It’s not the kind of office where you’d find fancy carpets. The floors are concrete and we have heavy-duty shelves for all the logs. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers who are out on the road. Sometimes the gate gets stuck and we have to give it a good shove. We’ve been operating out of Kalyan Nagar for quite a while now. There’s a small shack nearby that sells the best samosas for lunch. The work is mostly about logistics and making sure things move from one point to another. It’s hard work and the days can be long. We just focus on getting the trucks out on time. That is what we do here at number 81. It is a straightforward operation without any frills or extra nonsense.
