Doodh Misthan Bhandar

We are located at 718 Meera Marg on Jhotwara Road. The name of the place is Doodh Misthan Bhandar. As you can probably guess, we work a lot with fresh milk. The milk canisters arrive early every morning before the sun is even up. We have to start early to get everything ready for the day ahead. The shop is on a very busy stretch of Jhotwara Road, so there is always movement and noise outside. We have some large ceiling fans that hum all day long. They don't do much when it's the peak of summer, but we keep them going anyway for a bit of air. It’s a practical setup for a working shop. We have rows of sweets and some savories too. We don't do any big marketing or fancy advertising. Our sign is a bit faded from the sun but people still know exactly where we are. The kitchen is always a hive of activity. There’s the sound of metal scrapers on big pans and the steam rising from the pots. We use very simple ingredients that we trust. Nothing complicated or modern. We don't try to be trendy. We just stick to what we know how to do. People in this part of town seem to appreciate that honesty. If you come by in the afternoon, it's usually a bit quieter. That’s when we take our lunch breaks. We just want to provide something decent for the people around here. It has been our life for years.
