Dg Art & Fashion is situated at No. 34 in Narain Nagar. We are right on Tonk Road, which is a very busy stretch of road. Having Jaipuriya Hospital nearby is the best way to tell people where to find us, as everyone knows where the hospital is. The traffic on Tonk Road never really stops, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns in the background while we work. Our space in Narain Nagar is simple and functional. We have some tables for laying out the items and shelves that go up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a lot of new stock in, but we manage. The front door stays open most of the day to let some air in, though that also means a lot of dust from the road comes in too. We have a small desk where we keep our records and a kettle for making tea in the afternoons. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend much time on decorations because the work takes up most of our energy. Being near the hospital means there are always people walking past, even late into the evening. We just keep our heads down and get the daily chores done, from counting pieces to packing up orders. It’s a regular part of the Narain Nagar neighborhood. We like it here despite the noise and the constant dust.
