Deepa Tent Decorater

Deepa Tent Decorater is out in Pratap Nagar, right on Kumbha Marg in Sanganer at 192/337. This isn't a shop with a window display. It is more of a warehouse and a yard where we keep all the stuff for events. We have piles of carpets, stacks of plastic chairs, and all the wooden poles and iron frames needed to put up a big tent. My clothes usually have a bit of dust on them from moving the equipment around. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about their upcoming parties or local festivals. Then we have to load the trucks and go out to the site to set everything up. It is physical work and sometimes we get quite tired, especially during the peak season when there are several jobs in one weekend. We don't have a polished website or a marketing team. We just have our equipment and a few guys who know how to tie knots and level a stage on uneven ground. Sometimes the fabric gets a little faded from the sun, but we try to keep everything in decent shape. It is just a straightforward business helping neighbors set up for their big days. We have been in Sanganer long enough to know the shortcuts and the best places to park the trucks while we are working on a setup.
