You can find us at A 29 in Transport Nagar, right off the Agra Road. It’s a very dusty area because of all the heavy vehicles constantly moving in and out. The office is a small room where we keep the logbooks and the keys for the trucks. There’s always a driver or two sitting around waiting for their paperwork to be finished or for their next load to be ready. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where the trucks are and if they’ve hit any traffic. It can be a bit stressful when a truck breaks down somewhere far away, but we just handle it as it comes. The furniture in the office has seen better days, and there’s usually a layer of fine dust on everything no matter how much we clean. We drink a lot of tea here to keep going. Agra Road is always noisy, so we’ve learned to talk a bit louder to be heard over the engines. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy things about us. We just know how to move things from point A to point B. The walls have some old calendars and a map of the highway routes that’s starting to yellow at the edges. When the sun goes down, the yard gets a bit quieter, and we finally get a chance to catch up on the filing before heading home for the night.
