D K Ice Cream Parlour

Vaishali Nagar is where we set up D K Ice Cream Parlour. We are right at B-2 on Queens Road in Nityanand Nagar. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the freezers and a few stools. Every day starts the same way, checking the temperatures and making sure the lids are on tight. The hum of the cooling units is the background noise we live with. People stop by after their evening walks. You see the same faces from the neighborhood. Some nights it’s so busy we can’t even keep up with the scooping. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. It’s just a plain shop with cold treats. Sometimes the floor gets a little sticky from a dropped cone, but we get to it when we can. We've been here for a bit now, watching the traffic on Queens Road go by. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but it’s okay. We know most of the kids around here by their favorite flavor. It’s a simple life. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a local spot where you can get a cup of ice cream and sit for a minute. The light outside flickers sometimes, and we keep meaning to fix it. That's just how things are around here. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer.
