Carryco Road Carrier operates out of B 50 in Transport Nagar. Being in this area means we are surrounded by many other businesses just like ours. We have been at this location for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change over the years. Our work is pretty straightforward. We take goods from one point and deliver them to another. It sounds easy but there are always challenges like breakdowns or heavy traffic. Our office is a small room where we keep all our handwritten ledgers. We prefer doing things the old way because it’s what we know best. My cousin helps me with the day-to-day operations and answering the phone. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a dedicated sales team. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they see our trucks on the road. We handle a variety of items, whatever our clients need to move. The noise of Transport Nagar is something you just get used to after a while. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and chatting with the drivers before they head out on their long trips. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about our delivery times. If we say a truck will be there, we do our best to make it happen. It’s a simple, practical business run by people who know the transport industry inside out and don't mind getting their hands dirty.
