Balaji Roadways

Balaji Roadways is based out of Kanakpura, right in the Khandelwal Market on Gokulpura Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of movement. We spend our time coordinating where things need to go. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on drivers. The office is right in the middle of the market, so there’s always people shouting and horns honking outside. It isn't a quiet place to work, that’s for sure. We have a small desk and a few chairs for when people come in to discuss their loads. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and trying to make sure the trucks are where they should be. Things don't always go to plan, though. Traffic or a flat tire can mess up a whole afternoon. We just try to stay on top of it as best as we can. Being on Gokulpura Road makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out, though the market itself can get pretty tight. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and everyone around here knows us. We don't have any fancy tracking software or anything, just our notebooks and our phones. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but we keep the goods moving. That is what we do every single day without much fuss. There is a tea stall right outside where we get our morning drinks while we wait for the first trucks to arrive.
