Our shop, Anita Plastic, is over on Tonk Road in the Manu Vihar area, specifically at A-140. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you get here, you will see bright colors everywhere. We have stacks of plastic buckets, tubs, stools, and those big containers for storing grain. It’s a lot of stuff to manage, and sometimes the piles get so high that it feels like they might tip over. We started this because people always need basic things for their homes that don't break easily. It’s mostly just me and one other person working here. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make room for new stock that arrives on the trucks. Tonk Road is always busy, so there is a lot of dust that we have to wipe off the items every morning. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is more like a warehouse where people can come in and pick out what they need for their kitchen or bathroom. Some days it is very hot under the tin roof, but we just keep the water bottle close and keep working. We know most of the neighbors by name since they stop by for a new mug or a trash can. It’s a practical business. We just sell things that people actually use every day in their houses. There isn't much more to say about it than that.
