We’ve been running things here at Surajpole Gate No 2 for a while now. The shop is at number 78, and it’s usually quite a mess with all the stock coming in and going out every day. Trading isn't always easy, especially with how busy this part of town gets. Sometimes the trucks can't even get close because of the traffic near the gate. We just try to get the orders sorted and make sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s mostly just us moving boxes around and talking to the people who stop by. My brother usually handles the ledger while I deal with the loading. It’s a lot of manual work and we get tired by the evening. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but there’s never really any time for that. We focus on the stuff we sell and making sure we don't run out of what people are asking for. Sometimes a customer comes in and we don’t have exactly what they wanted, so we have to go find it or tell them to wait a couple of days. That’s just how it goes here. It’s a small space, and we've crammed as much as we can onto the shelves. Most days are just about keeping up with the demand and making sure the counts are right. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done and we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. We're just a regular trading company.
