Ambay Transport Co is located out in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area, specifically at number 15 near the Training Centre and right across from the BSNL office. Being in an industrial zone means it's always loud and dusty with big trucks moving in and out. We handle transport logistics, which basically means we move goods for the factories around here. Our office isn't much to look at, just a sturdy room with some filing cabinets and a big table for the drivers to sign their papers. We deal with a lot of paperwork, like gate passes and weight slips. Sometimes the trucks are delayed because of highway traffic or a breakdown, and those are the stressful days. I spend a lot of time on the phone with mechanics and fleet managers. It’s a tough business and you have to be ready for anything to go wrong. The BSNL office across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We've been in this spot for quite a few years and know most of the other business owners nearby. We don't have a shiny lobby or anything, just a place where work happens. Most of our day is spent making sure the loads are secured and the drivers have their routes. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on getting the cargo where it needs to be on time.
