Stone Shree Industries

Stone Shree Industries is located over at Plot No. 27-A in the T. S. Scheme No. 31 area of Navlakha. It’s a bit of an industrial feel around here. The best way to find us is to look for the Hari Tol Kata right opposite. Since that weighbridge is there, we see a lot of heavy vehicles passing by all day long. The noise of engines is just part of the background here. We deal with a lot of heavy stone, and our plot is usually filled with different blocks and cut pieces. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any decorations or a lobby. People just walk in, look at the stone, and we talk about what they need for their project. Moving these slabs requires a lot of care because one wrong move and you’ve lost a whole piece. We use the crane a lot. The ground is mostly gravel and dirt, so it’s not the cleanest place to walk around, but that’s just how stone yards are. We spend our days checking the inventory and talking to the drivers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait to use the saws, but we find other things to do while we wait. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep things moving so the yard doesn't get too crowded with old stock. We enjoy the work even if it is a bit dusty and loud most of the time.
