Jp Marbles

Our shop is right in the middle of the Village Depalpur main market, not too far from the Shani Mandir. It’s a good spot because people come by the temple and then stop to look at what we’ve got in the yard. Working with marble in a village setting is different than being in a big city. Things move a bit slower here. We spend our days rearranging the stacks and talking to neighbors who are finally building their own houses. The stone comes in from the big quarries, and we spend a lot of time washing the dust off so people can actually see the colors. Sometimes the kids from the village play nearby, and we have to tell them to watch out for the sharp edges. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break under the shade of the roof. Jp Marbles isn't some fancy showroom; it’s a practical place where you get dusty boots and sore hands from moving heavy tiles. We try to keep a decent variety so folks don't have to travel all the way to the city just for a bathroom floor. It’s honest work, and we like being near the temple where it feels a bit more peaceful despite the heavy lifting and the noise of the market outside.
