Heemanshi Marble

You’ll find Heemanshi Marble at Plot No 39 in Panchsheel Nagar. We are quite close to the New Loha Mandi, so the whole area has that industrial, hardworking vibe. It’s not a place for window shopping; it’s a place where people come to get things done. We have a lot of marble in stock. Some of it is local and some comes from further away. The slabs are leaning up in the yard, and we spend a good part of the day spraying them with water. It helps the customers see what the color will actually look like once it's polished and installed. Without the water, the stone just looks dusty and grey. We have a small group of guys who handle the loading. It’s a lot of manual labor, shifting those heavy pieces onto the trucks. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to sell the marble we have and make sure the customers are happy with what they picked. Sometimes the yard gets a bit crowded with shipments, and we have to spend the whole weekend just rearranging things. It’s part of the job. The neighborhood is mostly other businesses like ours, so it's a lot of trucks and workers moving around. It’s a good, solid place to be if you’re in the stone business. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
