Shri Madhav Marbles

You can find Shri Madhav Marbles over at No-E-91 in Sector-D. We are part of the Scheme No-94 area, right on the Ring Road. If you are looking for Welocity Takkies, we are very close to that cinema hall. It’s a busy part of town and there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about. Our place is basically a large shed where we keep different types of marble stacked up. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass windows or anything like that. The floor is usually covered in white stone dust, and you can smell the dampness of the cut stone when you walk in. We spend a lot of our time just moving these heavy slabs around with the crane so customers can see the whole piece. It’s a bit of a workout. Sometimes people come in after watching a movie nearby just to browse, and that’s fine. We don’t mind. We aren't corporate people, just some guys who know a bit about stone. The Ring Road makes it easy for the big trucks to deliver to us, even if the traffic gets a bit crazy in the evenings. We handle everything ourselves, from the unloading to helping people figure out how many trucks they’ll need for their floors. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we sell; it’s just stone at a price that seems fair to us.
