Shree Laxmikant Industries

Shree Laxmikant Industries has been operating out of 79-A in the New Industrial Estate (Fort) for a good while now. We are right across from Laxmibai Nagar and very close to the Grain Mandi, so there is always a lot of movement around here. The trucks come and go all day long with grain and supplies, and it gets pretty dusty on the road outside. Our building is a typical industrial setup, nothing fancy to look at, just a place where we get our work done day in and day out. Some mornings the traffic near the mandi is a real headache but you get used to it after a few years. Inside the gates, we keep ourselves busy with the daily production schedules. The staff mostly lives nearby or takes the bus to the estate gates. We have some old machinery that still runs better than the new stuff sometimes. It is loud during the peak hours of the afternoon when everything is running at once. We usually take a break when the tea man comes around with his kettle. There is no big corporate office here, just a small desk where the paperwork gets piled up. We mostly deal with local folks and other businesses in the estate. It is honest work and the years just seem to blur together when you are focused on the orders. It stays quite hot in the summer under the tin roofs but we manage just fine.
