Sagar Traders

We operate out of No. 35 in Jagjivan Ram Mohalla. This part of Ranipura, over in Nai Bagad, has been our home for quite some time. It’s a tight neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of the street and the neighbors all day. Being in Mhai Nagar means we see the same faces every morning. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. There are sacks and crates stacked up near the entrance. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get busy. We don’t have fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a regular trading spot where we handle whatever comes in. The walls have some marks from moving boxes around over the years. We keep a ledger on the desk and a calculator that’s seen better days. The floor is concrete and we sweep it out every morning before we open up. It gets dusty in this part of town, especially in the summer. We know most of our customers by name since they live right nearby. There isn't any complicated philosophy behind what we do. We just open the doors, trade our goods, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when things are slow and talk to the folks passing by.
