SAI Machine Work

Our workshop is over at Plot No- 182/2 in Raja Bagh Colony. It’s near Bar Ganga, so it’s easy to find if you know the area. We’ve been doing machine work here for a long time. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is just how a shop should look. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running at once. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of big fans that move the air around. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise, but we try to keep the heavy work for the morning. Most of our tools have been with us since the beginning. They are old but they work better than some of the new stuff you see today. I started this place with just a couple of lathes and a lot of patience. Now, there’s usually a stack of parts waiting to be fixed near the door. We don't spend much time on the computer; most of our work is done by hand or on the machines. There’s a tea shop around the corner where we usually take our lunch. Raja Bagh is a decent area to work in. It’s quiet enough at night but busy during the day. We just focus on getting the jobs finished so people can get back to their own work. It’s not complicated, just a lot of grease and hard work.
