Arihant Engg. Works

We are located at 124 in the Guru Nanak Timber Market. It is an interesting place to work because of all the wood being moved around nearby, but at Arihant Engg. Works, our focus is more on the metal and the machinery side of things. The air is often thick with the smell of sawdust from the neighboring shops mixed with the oil we use for our tools. It is a noisy environment, but we have grown used to the sound of saws and hammers over the years. The shop floor is not very large, and we have to be careful where we step so we don't trip over pieces of iron or spare parts waiting to be used. Most of us have been working here a long time, so we know the quirks of every machine we own. It isn't a shiny new factory; it's a place that has seen a lot of hard work and has grease stains on the walls to prove it. We usually start early in the morning when the market is just waking up and the tea seller makes his first round. There is no corporate vibe here at all. We wear work clothes that get dirty within the first hour, and we talk to our customers over the noise of the street. It is a simple life of making parts and fixing things that break. We don't have a big office, just a small desk in the corner.
