You can find us at 1254, N.P. Sector in Sudama Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our little setup for Rashmi Food right here. It’s a lot of kitchen work, really. We spend most of our time prepping ingredients and making sure the stove is running right. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when we’re busy. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a group of people making food like you would at home, just in much larger quantities. There’s always a bag of flour or a crate of vegetables sitting somewhere it probably shouldn't be. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy. If someone knocks, one of us just wipes our hands on an apron and goes to the door. The mornings are the craziest because that’s when everything needs to be started. By the afternoon, the heat in the kitchen is pretty intense, so we try to get the heavy cooking done early. We have some old stools where we sit for our lunch break, usually just eating whatever we made that day. It’s simple work and it keeps us busy. We don’t spend money on marketing because the work takes up all our time anyway. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure nothing gets burnt in the oven.
