Progressive Education

We are over at 49-A on Annapurna Road in Indore. It’s a familiar part of the city for most people living around here. Our focus is mainly on education and sitting down with students to figure out their lessons. The building isn't anything too grand, just a regular place where people come to learn. Indore is a lively city, and Annapurna Road is usually packed with people going to the shops or the temple nearby. We fit right into that daily rhythm. Inside, it’s mostly just classrooms and a small area for the staff to sit. We spend our days going over textbooks and explaining things until they make sense. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about the daily work. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or so. We’ve seen a lot of students pass through these doors over the years. Some are struggling with math, others just need a quiet place to study for a bit. We keep things straightforward. There’s no big corporate vibe here. It’s just local people working with other local people. We have tea together in the afternoons and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a very Indore way of doing things. If you walk down the road, you’ll probably see us through the windows, just doing our usual thing with the books and the chalkboards. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s home for us.
