O K Foods

O K Foods is located on Plot No. 5/3 in the Mundla Nayta Industrial Area, just off Nemawar Road. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where all the space is for a business like ours. We do a lot of different food items here, mostly stuff that needs careful packing and storage. The building is a simple concrete structure with a lot of light coming in from the high windows. Every morning we start by checking the inventory and seeing what needs to go out on the afternoon trucks. It is a lot of logistics, making sure we have enough plastic for the bags and that the scales are working right. The industrial area can be a bit lonely at night, but during the day it is full of people moving around. We have a small crew of about ten people who have been with us for a long time. They know exactly how I like things done, so I don't have to bark orders too much. We try to keep our overheads low so we can stay in business, which means fixing things ourselves when they break. There is always a leak to plug or a door that needs oiling. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing because we're too busy making sure the product is decent. It is just a regular workplace where people work hard and go home tired at the end of the day.
