We are located at 30/B Apollo Avenue in Old Palasia. Nafees Restaurant Private Limited has been a part of this Indore neighborhood for a while. It’s a busy spot and people are always coming and going. The building is easy to spot once you get onto Apollo Avenue. Working in the restaurant business means we are always on our feet. The office part of things is where we handle the bills and the hiring, but the real action is in the kitchen and the dining area. It smells like spices and fresh bread around here most of the day. Sometimes the heat from the stoves makes the whole place feel like an oven, especially in May or June. We have a lot of staff who have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be some corporate chain. We just care about the food we put on the plates and making sure the tables are clean. The floors get scuffed and the walls need a fresh coat of paint every now and then, but that’s just how it is when a place is busy. We deal with suppliers every morning, arguing over the price of tomatoes or the quality of the meat. It is a lot of hard work and late nights. We just do our best to keep the doors open and the customers fed.
