Mahakaleshwar Stone

We have been here at 9, Guru Nagar for a while now. Most people know us because we are right on the Ring Road. It is a busy spot. You can see the yard from the street. It gets pretty dusty out there with all the stone cutting and trucks coming in. We keep a variety of blocks and slabs stacked up. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there is someone coming in to look at what we have for their floors or stairs. We just try to get the work done. The guys in the back handle the heavy lifting. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move things around, especially when it rains and the ground gets soft. We have been dealing with different kinds of stones since we opened. People come by and ask a lot of questions about which one lasts longer or what looks better under certain lights. We just tell them what we know from seeing these materials every day. It isn’t a fancy office or anything. You just walk in, look at the stacks, and see what you like. We have a small desk where we do the paperwork. Mostly it is just us and the stone. Sometimes the traffic on the Ring Road makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the stone business stays pretty much the same.
